I also want to say Thank you to Jerome
It works perfect with Ubuntu the instructions are perfect
I wanted to add that you can plug in a Midi Keyboard on Ubuntu and play along JJazLab
1. simply install and run qjackqtl ========================
sudo apt-get install qjackqtl qjackqtl & ========================
2. click the Connect button 3. drag your Midi Keyboard onto FLUID Synth
and you can play the sounds and sensitivity [ velocity ] are better than Garageband or Bitwig
in case you want to change the instrument on Qsynth click the channel button, double click on the first line and chose another instrument in order not to interfere with JJazLab or for more advanced tuning you need to create another Qsynth engine and connect the MIDI keyboard to the new Qsynth Engine
