jerome, can ignore last post, about adding txt field.
hans contacted me (thx, hans) and suggested to put txt / lyrics into 'song memo' tab, i did, works just fine, if not excellent au pair. thumbsUp
1) but i do have another issue to report: when focus is in 'song memo' tab, i accidentally pressed something (back or del, duno), and broke the text, so i hit undo hotkey (ctrl-z), and, uupss, jjz did undo, but not text (memo tab), but 'chord leadsheet editor' tab actions (i renamed 'section' field there before doing txt, in memo tab, 2x) and of course, i tested 'redo' ctrl-y (that's just me), it worked like expected, under circumstances - it did re-name 'section' field back to changes
2) plus: 'force section at new line' - it only works if 'section' is selected, but if 'bar' is selected, it does not work not an issue per se, especially when you get used to, it is just not intuitive EDIT: actually, now it works, now it does not, but it always work if 'section' is selected
(can not take screenshot nor alt-tab to another app while r-click-menu is open in jjz; ok, i figured it out, i can)
3) and: 'rhythm selection dialog' - the text, below '4/4 rhythms' - Use shift-click to set/unset a rhythm as favorite. Click on a column header to sort by this column. - is micro, barely visible; and also brilliant, lol
have fun, mandatory,

EDIT: and i just figured it out, mint linux lets me set 'always on top' out-of-the-box, for any app i like; love it

For the function of jjazzlab, I think it is very complete, (Because many functions of jjazzlab surpass similar software) but the style management is not convenient, because I have thousands of styles and I want to be able to display them in different styles or folders., I want to quickly find the styles I need. Show my style and quantity in the folder!
