Hello everybody, I need your help ! I put more than 300 Yamaha style files in the last release. I had made a quick selection but I know the quality of the rhythm files is not consistent. For the next release I'd like to embed in the installation package only "very good" Yamaha style files, maybe 100. I don't need to cover all possible styles, the idea is more to have a high-quality selection to start with (other styles are freely available on the web). Could you help me make this selection ? You just have to send a .zip with your recommended Yamaha files (.prs .sty .sst .bcs), ideally sorted by music style. The critera for a "very good" rhythm: - The 4 variations Main A/B/C/D sound good with JJazzLab using the JJazzLab-SoundFont (it's important, you need to test with this reference soundfont available to everyone, and test the 4 variations using the attached .sng file, see below).
- The rhythm should be usable on a wide choice of chord leadsheets (i.e. not a super specific style for a limited choice of songs)
You'll find below a simple .sng file to compare rhythm files (4 bars, 1 maj and 1 min chords, 4 variations). My email here. THANKS !

I went through all 305 styles and I think they all offer some value depending on the project/song.
Thank you for all your hard work,
yeto

Maybe you also found other good styles on the web ? I haven't looked on the web as of yet. So far I am happy with what you have provided. Maybe sometime in the future I will look for more styles. Thank you, yeto
