Just found this software ant it is amazing! Hovever, I am trying to import a midi file to be able to hear my pian so I can create sections of the whole piece and be able to hear how everything works together, but I am unable to import the midi! When I drag my midi file to the piano roll nothing happens. I tried to delete some of my notes. If my midi is reduced to 60 bars it imports fine, but I can not import the midi of the whole piece which is 101 bars long. Is there a limit on low long the imported midi can be? Am I experiencing a bug? This is my midi file: Canon_in_D_V4.mid (10.69 KB)

I guess you import the Midi notes in a user track. The user track's length is the song's length. So make your song longer (eg duplicate song parts) so it's long enough to accept all the imported notes.

I found the problem.
Midi was created using Musescore. In musescore in one of the measures one of the notes was doubled. The same note was on the trebble and base clefs at the same time. JJazzLab didn't like that.
I soon as I removed one of the doubled notes. I was able to paste me midi with no issues.
Maybe JJazzLab could be improved in next releases by ignoring doubble midi notes...
