Here are the main features I'd like to add for next release 2.2:
- Rhythm (audio) preview directly in the Rhythm selection dialog - Cache rhythm files list info to avoid rescanning all rhythm files upon each startup - Dark theme - Print leadsheet + transposed playback window : for sax/trumpet etc. players (not C tonality). If I add lyrics later this would be there too.
I'm open to suggestions or comments to know which feature is the most expected.
It won't be a major release so no big change. Of course I have to make some choices. For each feature it's a trade-off between development effort/nb of user requests/my personal motivation. I'm also more enclined to work on features where I benefit from development help.

A leadsheet for the melody would be a dream come true, but, I suspect you’re talking about a chord sheet. there are already some chord layers around, like irealpro, but they lack the possibility to read the melody.
in general, I really like where this is going. Works good, import BIAB tunes is a super feature... it holds a lot of promise.
