I have a song I wrote where the downbeat of the section is a rest, and the chord comes in on the upbeat of 1. When I enter it into JJazzLab, I get an error "starting chord symbol missing". I can make the downbeat silent on other measures but not the first beat of a section. Is there a way around this?
Thanks Doug

Yes you always need a chord at the start of a section. You mean you would like a silence at the start of the section until next chord ?

Yes, I added the "NC" chord symbol in the to-do list (https://github.com/jjazzboss/JJazzLab-X/issues)
