I do not see a way to add augmented triads (i.e., C-E-G#) or augmented seventh chords (i.e., C-E-G#-Bb). The only option is found by right-clicking on a chord, sliding to "Major", where I can add a Maj7#5. However, simple augmented triad and augmented chords are more commonly used in jazz. Having those options would be great.
Augmented chords should have their own popup choice, alongside major, minor, diminished, etc.
augmented--> Aug (C,E,G#) Aug7 (C,E,G#,Bb) AugMaj7 (C,E,G#, B)
OR
augmented--> + (C,E,G#) +7 (C,E,G#,Bb) +Maj7 (C,E,G#, B)
Thank you!

Augmented chords are present indeed.
From the "chord type" submenus: augmented triad: major submenu => "+" augmented sevenths: seventh submenu => "7#5", ...
From the bar or chord edit dialog Just type the chord symbol, F+, F7#5, Db7b9#5, etc. You can find the list of all supported chord symbols in the Options/Chord symbols tab, you can even add your own aliases.
