Super nebbie here. I know this is probably easy to do but... I have a song pretty much done but I want to add a few more bars to the beginning. How can I pull this off? really appreciate any help. Thanks!

I apologize but I`m not sure what you mean. I`m trying to add to the very beginning of the song. I can`t see where to click and add my bars. Again I apologize I am very new to all this. Still trying to find how to locate and install new styles as well. Thank you very much!

While I was reading your message I realized that Jerome had just given you an answer to which I'd just like to add the following: I personally use the insert function a lot, especially to create an intro, which is done for all jazz tunes at the beginning of the piece. If you add the bars before bar 1 (which bears the letter "A"!) of your song, Jjazzlab will consider these newly inserted bars as an "Introduction" and assign it the letter "_A". If your new measures are to form an integral part of your song, you'll need to change "_A" to "A".
Hang in there, Jjazzlab will give it back to you. hans
